The Homegrown Juice Co Ltd is recalling a specific batch of its The Homegrown Juice Company brand Raw Kombucha due to the possible presence of foreign matter (glass pieces) inside the bottle due to an issue with the bottling equipment.
The recalled batch has the best before the 17th of August 2024 and is sold in a 350ml glass bottle.
The company has asked consumers to check the date marked on their bottle of purchase, and if it matches the above, they are able to return the product to their retailer of purchase for a full refund.
Affected products should not be consumed. While there have been no reports of associated injury, New Zealand Food Safety asks those who have consumed this product and have any concerns about their health to seek medical advice.
