MONDELEZ SALES DOWN 29 PERCENT

Mondelez has reported a loss of 29 percent with local sales dropping from $297 million in 2017 to $212 million in the year to the end of December. Mondelez has stated that the decline was due to a number of factors which included the closure of the Cadbury factory in Dunedin. Cadbury has seen a lot of heat from its customers recently after it changed its Roses chocolates and marshmallow Easter eggs as well as downsized its block size by 10 percent.
