This year’s NZ Food Awards are open for entries, with some great news for all interested companies. To guide both newcomers and industry veterans to the entry process, three ‘Fit for Entry’ workshops will be held in Auckland (June 1), Christchurch (June 6) and Palmerston North (July 5). The half-day events have been designed to help entrants put together a competitive application.

Workshop One, in Auckland, will give insight into the entry and judging processes with head judge Kay McMath. In addition, participants will learn more about how to apply for Callaghan’s R&D grants with ATEED, while previous winner The Pure Food Co. will explain how a food award can benefit their businesses.

For 2016, categories have been refreshed; a new look safety award has been introduced, and the Restaurant&Café Artisan award has been merged into the small manufacturing section. To learn more, register here and secure your free spot.
