NZ COMPANIES SHOULD TEAM UP IN ASIA

While NZ companies compete strongly in the domestic market, it’s ‘hugely important’ they collaborate when working in the Asian export markets, Prolife Foods CEO Andrew Smith emphasised in the latest FGC Leaders Series video.

“When we are overseas, we are part of NZ Inc in some way, and there are things that we can do to collaborate that don’t interfere with our own potential but give us all much greater potential, and that’s creating the scale that’s creating the expertise,” Smith said.
Talking about the ‘learnings’ behind his company’s successful international business, he said that Australia is the first export market to look at, due to its proximity, size and similar consumer trends.
