Police engaged in a low-speed vehicle pursuit yesterday morning in Gisborne. According to witnesses, a woman in her mid-20s came out of a Pak’nSave car park with a cop following her, then cut through a nearby Z service station and went back through the supermarket car park again. The pursuit was abandoned for safety reasons four minutes later, but police said they identified the driver and inquiries were ongoing.
