A 28-year-old man appeared in court yesterday on a charge of sexual violation. Police said the man assaulted a woman in a Countdown carpark in Hastings on Monday night, around 9 pm. As the victim walked past, he dragged her into his car, a Silver Toyota saloon, and sexually assaulted her.
