STICKMAN TURNS PINK TO FIGHT BREAST CANCER

To show its support for the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation’s Pink Ribbon Appeal, this month Pak’nSave is turning pink and selling special pink reusable grocery bags for $2.
“This is our second year supporting the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation,” said Steve Anderson, managing director, Foodstuffs (NZ) Ltd. “Last year we surpassed our expectations and donated over $72,000 to the Pink Ribbon Appeal, thanks to the wonderful support of our staff and customers.”

Meanwhile, Stickman is also pulling on his pink gumboots on TV screens for two weeks.

The Foundation’s chief executive, Evangelia Henderson, praised Foodstuffs for its help in fighting breast cancer, which affects one in nine Kiwi women over the course of their lifetime.
