SUSTAINABILITY BASED ON ‘PEOPLE, PLANET AND PROSPERITY’

Producing in New Zealand rather than moving offshore to low-cost economies is good for our country, providing job opportunities and building ‘the infrastructure that we all come to enjoy.’ In the latest FGC Leaders Series video, Brew Group CEO NZ Mark Hamilton took a stand for New Zealand and its economy, pointing out that Brew Group had been focusing on ‘prosperity’, ‘planet’ and ‘people’ (including consumers and suppliers) as the three pillars of sustainability.

According to Katherine Rich, chief executive of FGC, this commitment is part of the New Zealand picture.

“Sustainability forms a big part of [Brew Group’s] culture, and that builds them long-lasting reputations, not just with consumers in New Zealand who can see they are doing the right thing, but it also helps win over customers overseas,” she said.
