Milk Recall

Organic Raw Milk

Lindsay Farm HB Ltd is recalling specific batches of its Lindsay Farm brand Organic Raw Milk (unpasteurised) as the product may contain Campylobacter. New Zealand Food Safety has said that affected products should not be consumed.

However, consumers can consume it after heating it to 70°C and holding it at this temperature for one minute. Those who don’t have a thermometer are advised to heat the milk until it nearly reaches a boil (or scald milk) before drinking it.

Batches recalled include lot numbers 2310, 2410, 2510, 2610, 2710, 2810, 2910, 3010, 3110, 0111, and 0211, and use-by dates up between and including the 27th of October 2023 to the 5th of November 2023.

Retailers of the products in this recall must download a copy of the point of sale notice and display it in-store for one month.

Customers are asked to check the lot number and use-by date printed on the bottle.

There have been three reported cases of associated illness. For those who have consumed any of this product and have any concerns about their health, seek medical advice.

Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
