Customers can contact the relevant stores to request a refund and have been asked to check the packed-on and Use-by dates on the product container.
NW Kitchen brand deli meals
NW Kitchen brand deli meals have been recalled as the products may contain foreign matter (glass).
Recalled on 14 June 2026 by New World Greymouth and New World Rolleston.
The following products are affected by this recall:
New World Greymouth
- NW Kitchen brand Sweet & Sour Chicken — Packed on dates 10.06.26 to 13.06.26, Use By Dates 13.06.26 to 16.06.26.
New World Rolleston
- NW Kitchen brand Chicken Tikka Masala with Rice — Packed on 12.06.26, Use by 15.06.26
- NW Kitchen brand Butter Chicken Deli Made — Packed on 12.06.26, Use by 15.06.26
- NW Kitchen brand Deli Butter Chicken & Rice — Packed on 12.06.26, Use by 15.06.26
The products are sold chilled in plastic containers. This recall does not affect any other deli products at New World Greymouth and New World Rolleston.
The products were sold at New World Greymouth and New World Rolleston. The products have not been exported.
Customers should contact New World Greymouth or New World Rolleston for a full refund.

Recalled on 13 June 2026 by Pak'n Save Riccarton.
The Pak'n Save Riccarton deli meals with the following date markings are affected by this recall:
- RW Sweet and Sour Chicken: Packed on date of 09.06. 26 to 13.06.26, Use By date 14.06.26 to 18.06.26
- Butter Chicken Deli Made: Packed on date of 09.06.26 to 13.06.26, use by date 14.06.26 to 18.06.26
- Deli Made Panini Butter Chicken: Packed on date of 09.06.26 to 12.06.26, use by date 14.06.26 to 17.06.26
