My Food Bag Makes Landmark Delivery

My Food Bag has announced that it has reached a significant milestone this week with the NZ success story reaching 50 million meal deliveries. The landmark delivery comes after just a mere five years in business and proves its market-leading status.

My Food Bag CEO Kevin Bowler says the company’s success boils down to its reputation for outstanding recipes and the provenance of the fresh, local, free-range produce it uses.

“Our customers tell us they love both the quality of the food delivered each week and the fact that we work with local growers and producers to procure that food. Where food comes from is of great importance to both our customers and ourselves, which is why My Food Bag is always bursting with the goodness of New Zealand.”

What sets My Food Bag apart is that it sources 100 percent of products from New Zealand based suppliers.  “Whether its potatoes dug up in Pukekohe or carrots grown in Ohakune, our suppliers and our farmers are Kiwis who are as passionate as we are about delivering the best quality product. Our customers can trust their food is fresh from the farm to plate,” said Bowler

My Food Bag has undergone a transformation since it began operating 5 years ago. The company now features a range of 20 different food bags including Bargain Box and Fresh Start and My Food Bag. The meal kit company also offers customers the option to swap out meals that don’t suit. With a total of 30 recipes, My Food Bag has something for everyone.

“Nadia and our team of talented chefs have devised more than 5,000 healthy, crowd-pleasing recipes over the years, which they’re constantly refining based on the feedback given to our award-winning New Zealand-based Customer Service team,” Bowler added.

In 2017 My Food Bag won the Supreme Business Excellence Award at Westpac Auckland Best of the Best Business Awards.
