Freshly launched in selected New World stores and pharmacies throughout the South Island, a new brand of German-made condoms is urging Kiwi men to see how they measure up, using a printable sizing chart.
Conveniently called MySize, the brand sells seven different sizes through its website, ranging from 47 to 69 millimetres. Currently only two of its larger sizes can be found on the shelves, but the company hopes to bring the rest of the range in New Zealand next year.
Over the past few months another condom brand, Hero, hit the shelves and threw down the gauntlet to goliath players like Durex and Ansell. The Australian company recently rolled out its range in almost all Countdown stores, displaying the slogan: “Have sex, save a life, save the world.” For every condom sold, in fact, the social enterprise donates another to a developing country to help fight the spread of HIV/AIDS.
