New Food Delivery Box brings Foodie Friends Together

When Raglan Food Co. founder, Tesh Randall started out in 2014, she didn’t know who to ask for advice and support in the often overwhelming FMCG space. After meeting other food business owners at expos and trade shows, she could see that many others were also ‘doing it alone’.

Randall organised a gathering of like-minded food business owners in Nelson, a group of ‘foodie friends’ and the idea for a new food delivery box was born.

“We have all been struggling to reach new customers with expos being cancelled and in-store tasting demos not possible over the recent COVID years,” explained Tesh.

“So we decided to team up and combine products from 20+ Kiwi artisan brands into one box, at an affordable price that people can have delivered to their door anywhere in New Zealand. The box is only $75 for over $150 worth of products!”

With hospitality sales drastically reduced, increased costs due to freight pressures, and staff off isolating due to Covid, food businesses around New Zealand have been feeling the pressure of past two years.

“At a time like this it’s more important than ever to find ways to help and support each other,” noted Randall.

“We’re stronger together.”
