New Unit Pricing Regulations

New Unit Pricing Regulations

The grocery commissioner has issued guidance for grocery retailers on the new unit pricing regulations for grocery products. This will have a benefit for Kiwi consumers, making it easier for them to compare prices when doing grocery shopping. It will also be useful for suppliers when considering promotional investment, pack sizes and product range.

The guidelines are available here.

The Commissioner is encouraging retailers to understand their obligations and if they have any questions consider seeking legal advice.
