Last week, the New Zealand Beverage Council held a successful networking event and AGM at the Pullman Hotel. Over 60 members and industry guests attended.
At the AGM sad farewells were made to Karen Thompson from the executive and Janet Donovan as chair of ATG. Other changes include Sophie Lodge from Frucor Suntory joining Grant Jeffery as the second co-chair, Rachael Armstrong from The Antipodes Water Company and Peter Jiang from Coca-Cola Europacific elected to the executive, Shiji Mathew from Frucor Suntory joints TAG committee and Sara Tucker from Lion re-joins the PART committee.


Following at the social event, Angus brown made a presentation about Arepa’s story and the challenges in setting up scientific studies to prove efficacy. Billie Jordan from Hip-Operation then shared the inspirational story behind the world’s oldest dance crew.
The NZBC thanked the Events Committee led by Nick Sawyer for putting the evening together and NZ Sugar and Pure Bottling for their sponsorship.
