NZ’s Most Trusted Sunscreen

Cancer Society Wins Most Trusted Sunscreen Award

The New Zealand Cancer Society has won the ‘Most Trusted Sunscreen Brand’ in the very first Reader’s Digest NZ Award for this category.

Skin cancer is New Zealand’s most common cancer, with over 90,000 Kiwis diagnosed each year. Over 90 percent of skin cancers are caused by excessive UV exposure and are preventable.

“Our goal is to protect Kiwis from the sun, while supporting those affected by cancer. This award reflects the trust people place in us, and we’re incredibly grateful,” said Helen Carter, CEO, Cancer Society Sunscreens.

The society said it was a great honour to receive this recognition, some 25 years after the Cancer Society launched its first sunscreens, which gave Kiwis high-quality UV protection and helped fund cancer support services for patients and life-saving cancer research.
