OUCH Gets A Makeover

Due to the product being "too pocketable", Goodbye OUCH Manuka Balm has received a new look. Founder Becky Cashman explained that previously, retailers had experienced theft of small items that had led them to voice their concerns about putting the small, high quality product on their shelves.

“Goodbye OUCH Manuka Balm has more uses than a Swiss Army knife so we needed to make a tiny tin that could be tucked anywhere but in doing that we inadvertently put temptation in the way of loose fingered shoppers," said Cashman. “So we redesigned the packaging to enable the 12gm tin to sit in a hangsell which was the perfect opportunity to better tell the story of the small but mighty balm with more than 80 uses.  It’s still the same great product inside.”

Now the first grocery brand in New Zealand to be NATRUE certified, the 100 percent natural balm combines rich oils of apricot kernel, jojoba, red raspberry seeds with powerful essential oils (eucalyptus, tea tree, manuka, frankincense, and geranium). These ingredients are blended together with organic beeswax from New Zealand.
