The South Islands' first ever PAK'nSAVE has had a store-wide refurbishment, featuring a new Click & Collect zone and the latest SHOP'nGO technology.

"We've seen so much change to the industry over the past 30 years, and it's fantastic to be able to completely transform our store to bring our customers the latest innovation and technology in grocery. It's been a long three-year journey to complete this refurbishment, and we're excited to see customers make the most of the new features in-store," said Bryan Dobson, Owner Operator.

The store opened in Invercargill in 1992 and remained in the Dobson family's hands. With their children, Jason, Matthew, and Tanya, Bryan and Anne have been leading the project.

"It's been great working together on such a big project and being able to implement more sustainable features into the store. We've included new innovations like a brand-new cardboard press and plastic baler to recycle more waste, Co2 refrigeration, equipment to recycle heat from the refrigeration to provide heating inside the store, as well as adding doors and lids to our freezer to help conserve electricity," said Matthew Dobson, Operations Manager.

PAK'nSAVE Invercargill is located at 95 Tay St, Invercargill, and is open Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 9 pm.
