Parkers Beverage Company has halted the production of its water in plastic bottles instead choosing to package its water in fully recyclable aluminium cans. It is the first company in the Southern Hemisphere to package still water in this format.
“While some companies are offering ‘alternatives’ to plastic bottles, there is no better alternative than aluminium cans for packaged water. If consumers want a choice or an alternative, they now have one,” said managing director Doug Speedy.
