Woolworths New Zealand underwent a significant change as it replaced its longstanding Onecard loyalty program with Everyday Rewards, a move set to impact millions of shoppers nationwide. Jonathan Reeve, Vice President of APAC at Eagle Eye, provided insights into this transformation, sharing that Everyday Rewards, already successful in Australia, operates on a points system where each dollar spent earns one Everyday Rewards point.

Members can redeem a $15 Rewards voucher upon reaching 2000 Everyday Rewards points, applicable at Woolworths supermarkets or bp outlets. Notably, members availing themselves of personalised 'Booster' offers can earn rewards twice as quickly as before.
Reeve said he was enthusiastic about the transition, highlighting Woolworths' focus on offering personalised offers to each customer, enhancing engagement. He continued that personalised offers were incredibly effective, citing a 42 percent year-on-year increase in users of Woolworths' Everyday Rewards App in Australia.
