Dreamview Creamery has recalled specific batches of its Dreamview Creamery brand Raw Milk (unpasteurised) as the product may contain Listeria.
Affected products include batch numbers 290623, 300623, 030723, 040723, and 050723, with the use-by dates of the 29th of June 2023 up to and including the 5th of July 2023. These products should not be consumed, and customers are advised to check the batch or date mark on the bottle lid.
However, the product may be consumed after heating to 70°C and held at this temperature for one minute. If you don't have a thermometer, heat the milk until it nearly reaches a boil (or scald it) before drinking it.
There have been no reports of associated illness in New Zealand. If customers have consumed any of these products and are concerned about their health, they are encouraged to seek medical advice.
Customers can return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
