Significant Contribution To Food Safety Award

Significant Contribution to Food Safety Award

The Significant Contribution to Food Safety Award recognises those who have improved or developed food safety in New Zealand.

Some companies and individuals go above and beyond to improve and implement food safety practices in New Zealand.

To recognise these outstanding contributors to the food safety system, New Zealand Food Safety (NZFS), a Ministry for Primary Industries business unit, champions the Significant Contribution to Food Safety Award.

The award is presented at the annual New Zealand Institute of Food Safety and Technology conference and awards dinner.

The Significant Contribution to Food Safety Award, sponsored by New Zealand Food Safety, is part of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science and Technology (NZIFST) Awards.

The award recognises an organisation, team, or individual that displays outstanding, original or creative improvements or developments to food safety. The winner will be announced at the 2025 NZIFST Conference dinner.

The award winner will receive a certificate of recognition and trophy, a ticket to attend the dinner, and a contribution towards the travel and accommodation costs to attend.
