Stickman embraced Movember, an international campaign that encourages men to grow a moustache every November in support of men’s health, by growing his own ‘stick’ moustache. Throughout November, employees from PAK’nSAVE’s 52 stores will be expressing their inner ‘Mo’ by displaying moustaches and fundraising for the cause.
In the meantime, all employees from Foodstuffs South Island will do the same, as part of a contest to see whose staff raises the most.
“Growing a moustache is a temporary gesture, but we hope it starts conversations about men’s health that make a lifetime of difference,” said Robert Dunne, country manager of Movember Foundation NZ. All the money collected will be donated directly to the foundation.
