SUPPORTING THE ALL BLACKS

Rugby fever got an extra boost from Countdown last month with the release of 30 limited edition All Black micro-figures that came hidden in a $2 pouch. General Manager Marketing Bridget Lamont said the huge interest in rugby and the World Cup meant the promotion was a way customers could celebrate the game and get behind the All Blacks. The promotion also offered an $8 collector’s album to house the micro-figures.
