Rapid grocery delivery company, Teddy, has officially launched in Christchurch and to celebrate, the team has shared some of the most popular grocery items they have delivered.

Duck Island’s S’mores Ice Cream Sandwich currently sits in first place, followed closely by Snackachangi Salt and Vinegar Kettle Fried chips. Boring Oat Milk, bananas, Parrotdog Birdseye beer, Duck Island Fairy Bread Ice Cream Sandwich, Ploughman's bread, tomatoes, Anchor Blue milk and Purex toilet paper all follow in the top ten.

We’re not gonna judge – when you need a snack, you need a snack, and we have more than a few people using Teddy while isolating with the “‘Vid”. They obviously need something delish to take the edge off being stuck at home protecting their community. But we’re also getting plenty of orders for fresh fruit and veg. It just goes to show New Zealanders are getting their vitamins in all the right ways, as they should,” said Chaz Savage, Teddy Co-Founder.

Other popular items include Jess’ Underground Kitchen meals, Beehive ham, carrots, avocados and Coca-Cola. The Teddy range only started out with 600 products but continues to grow as customers want more on demand.

Scale is everything as we’re determined to grow as quickly as possible, ensuring more Kiwis can get what they need in record time, saving face and saving the day. Teddy is taking the main centres by storm, and it’s only getting better from here.”

Watch out, Wellington, your next.
