Two Dudes Aerial Supermarket Delivery

Two Dudes men’s skincare has delivered a supermarket order by aeroplane.

Two Dudes has made headlines by delivering a supermarket order via aeroplane in a world-first, innovative Kiwi men's skincare brand.

The local men’s grooming brand has a reputation for unique marketing of its skincare range.

Its “Ball Butter” was designed to promote testicular cancer awareness. At the same time, its Back, Sack & Crack Wash was a viral sensation, selling out in 22 minutes after initially being launched as an April Fools’ joke.

On the 12th of September, Two Dudes delivered a Woolworths supermarket order via aeroplane to Woolworths Rangiora. This innovative and unusual delivery method marked their commitment to doing whatever it takes to reach every Kiwi man’s bathroom.

While brands typically deliver supermarket orders on trucks via distribution centres, Two Dudes went directly to the store in an aeronautical operation.

“We are trying to talk to Kiwi men about skincare, grooming and their health in a way that big overseas brands with deep pockets can’t,” said Tomas Tappin, co-founder of Two Dudes.

“One of our customers joked to us one day that if we ever needed help delivering orders, he had a plane on his farm. Once we realised he was being serious, we thought, now there’s something a bit different to announce our launch into Woolworths.”

This partnership was aimed at making men's skincare more accessible and encouraging better self-care habits.

George Caseley, Category Manager at Woolworths, added that men’s health was often overlooked and that Woolworths was proud to partner with the team at Two Dudes and have their skincare range in stores.

“We hope this partnership and this unique world-first launch approach inspire more men to take care of themselves.”

Following the aeroplane delivery, Two Dudes products will be available at Woolworths and Foodstuffs supermarkets nationwide and online.

Two Dudes has also partnered with men’s health charities. Ten percent of their profits are donated to charities like the New Zealand Men’s Health Trust. In 2023 they established a male nursing scholarship alongside the New Zealand Nurses Organisation.
