Westie Pies staff recently attended an unexpected show, when the company, as part of its sponsorship of the Warriors, decided to host rugby players Nathan Friend, Tuimoala Lolohea, Sione Lousi and Brad Abbey.
During the shift changeover, they competed against each other filling savouries and handmaking sausage rolls. While Lolohea and Friend seemed at ease in their temporary job, the same cannot be said for Lousi and Abbey.
“Suffice to say Nathan has a new career in front of him when he retires, followed very closely by Tuimoala,” Westie Pies jokingly commented. “Unfortunately, Sione and Brad need to focus on their league careers and not give up their day jobs.”
