WW Launches New Hazelnut Cocoa Spread

WW (formerly Weight Watchers) has released a new Hazelnut Cocoa Spread in New Zealand, giving Kiwis a healthier alternative to try with their toast or pancakes from today.

For those who can’t stop at one teaspoon, the newly debuted spread is a blessing with only 1g of sugar in each 15g serving, no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or sweeteners - and not a drop of palm oil!

With no sacrifice on flavour either, the spread offers a rich chocolatey, nutty taste with a smooth and creamy consistency, perfect for spreading, dipping and baking. The heavenly treat, which comes sealed in a 200g snack pot with an easy-to-open lid, is already a hit among WW members and TikTokers since launching on the WW shop this month. Recipes shared on social media featuring the spread so far include everything from mug muffins and cinnamon scrolls to chocolate toasties and banana pancakes.

“Who doesn’t want to have their cake and eat it too? We love the new WW Hazelnut Cocoa Spread because you can enjoy the same delicious chocolate spread experience with lower levels of sugar and with the bonus of no palm oil. Our WW community has wanted this for a while so we’re thrilled that we can deliver on that need," said Nicole McInnes, Director of Marketing, Program and Commercial for WW ANZ.
