New Zealand Food Safety supports Zany Zeus Limited in recalling a specific batch of its Halloumi cheese due to the possible presence of Bacillus cereus. The Bacillus cereus was found due to routine testing and has not yet affected a customer.
Zany Zeus Limited brand Halloumi, with a best-before date of 08.04.2024, is affected by this recall.
Customers of Zany Zeus Limited have been asked to check the best-before date on the packet to see if their product has been contaminated. Those that have should not be consumed.
