With Labour Weekend kicking off the (unofficial) start of summer, Four Square celebrated its 100th summer in style.
Brollabs is Four Square's twist on collaboration. The local fresh grocer partnered with iconic Kiwi brands Cookie Time, Tip Top, Behemoth, and Wattie's to create a limited-edition range of summer goodies.
"The idea behind Brollabs is simple. When iconic Kiwi brands get together, Brollabs are made,” said Diane Clark, Head of Marketing and CX for Four Square.
“For our 100th birthday, we wanted to do something special and celebrate with all our mates because if there’s one thing we’ve learned over the last century, it’s that birthdays should never be celebrated alone.”
Clark said it had been fantastic working alongside such Kiwi icons, many of whom had been around for almost as long as Four Square.
“With summer just around the corner, we can’t wait to share the love and give our customers a classic Kiwi-er summer to remember. Here’s to a Hundy.”
A taste of the limited edition Brollabs found in-store included the following:
The Birthday Cookie from Cookie Time: This nostalgic treat evoked the taste of a traditional vanilla sponge birthday cake, complete with colourful sprinkles and white chocolate chunks.
Fruju Orange Rush from Tip Top: Fruju and Four Square go together like summer and sunshine, and this crowd favourite with a refreshing, zesty orange flavour has been brought back as a single serve, exclusive to Four Square. Get in quick and eat it quicker.
Hazy of the Century IPA from Behemoth: Nothing is better than cracking a nice cold beer on a sunny day. This hazy IPA is loaded with the best New Zealand hops, giving a real fruit bowl of tropical citrus flavours and aromas.
Four Square branded Wattie’s Tomato Sauce bottle: Wattie’s products are the unsung hero of many a table (or picnic blanket). Whether you’re firing up the BBQ or saucing your mince and cheese pie, this exclusive bottle is a must-have for any Four Square fan this summer.
These limited-edition goodies will be available in Four Square stores nationwide from the 21st of October until sold out for summer.
