After six years, the iconic Original Kiwi Dip bowl has made its comeback, just in time to kick off the New Zealand summer.
A staple at BBQs, picnics, and family gatherings for over three decades, this nostalgic classic is ready to reclaim its spot at the centre of Kiwi celebrations.
Dip is a national Kiwi obsession, with 97 percent of households enjoying it, and nothing hits quite like the Original Kiwi Dip. Whether you’re scooping it up with chippies, veggie sticks, crackers, or just going in with a spoon, its unmistakable flavour is the taste of summer.
Answering years of calls from fans, the nostalgic OKD bowls have also returned for dip devotees as a gift with the purchase of 2x MAGGI Onion Soup and 2x Nestlé Reduced Cream. Classic Kiwi summer scenes have inspired this year’s designs, featuring beaches, lakesides, as well as a backyard BBQ.
Nestlé New Zealand Senior Brand Manager Robyn Moore described the Original Kiwi Dip as a summer ritual for Kiwis.
“Original Kiwi Dip is a national favourite, and the iconic bowls have become a cult classic. Dating back to the late 90s, the bowls are truly a collectable treasure, and the Maggi team are stoked to bring them back just in time for the summer silly season.”
