A new dinnertime hero has hit Kiwi shelves; Impossible Chicken Nuggets Made From Plants. Impossible Foods is a California-based company that launched only one year ago and now has the fastest-growing brand of plant-based chicken nuggets.
“Nuggets are one of our newest products but have quickly become one of our most popular products. We know Kiwis are going to love them because they taste great, they’re convenient, and they happen to be better for you and the planet. They’re just as easy to prepare as the nugget you’re familiar with and can be enjoyed as a midday snack or easy dinner for busy families,” said Tate Connolly, Marketing Manager at Impossible Foods ANZ.
Impossible Beef launched on shelves earlier this year because even as one of the highest meat-consuming countries in the world, 15 percent of New Zealand’s population are meat-free.
Because Impossible nuggets are made from plants, they use less water, generate less GHG emissions and less land than animal-based chicken nuggets. They have a four-star health rating and are packed with 12.5 grams of protein and 2.8 grams of fibre per serving.
