ALBA has launched the latest addition to the ALBA family, ALBA Raspberry Sparkling Margarita, a refreshing twist on the classic marg.
Made for long days and late nights, this marg is crafted with premium tequila, fresh raspberry, zesty lime, bubbles and just a little mischief.
The new Raspberry Sparkling Margarita was created with Kiwi flavours in mind. ALBA tapped into growing demand for fruit-forward flavours and refreshing, premium RTDs. This marg seamlessly fits into those long afternoons, beach days and late nights with friends.
“We’re always listening to what Kiwis are loving right now,” said Michael Tutty, Head of Sales & Marketing at Socialsmiths.
“Raspberry is having a moment, and when you pair it with tequila, lime and bubbles, you get something that feels instantly familiar but still a little bit cheeky. It’s easy-drinking and refreshing.”
The launch is supported by a collaboration with Launder, known for its iconic pink uniforms and doorstep delivery service.
As part of the partnership, ALBA and Launder will create and share a mix of social content and limited-edition merch, and hand-deliver Raspberry Sparkling Margarita packs. All dropped off by the Launder team in their iconic pink uniforms and custom van.
On paper, a sparkling margarita and a laundry service have nothing to do with each other. But the best collaborations often don’t make sense at first; they just work.
The tequila category continues to surge in popularity across New Zealand. According to NielsenIQ data, tequila is the fastest-growing RTD spirit category, up +14.6 percent, driven largely by ALBA, which has grown over 59 percent year-on-year.
ALBA now holds 72 percent market share of the tequila RTD category, cementing its position as the clear category leader. The Raspberry Sparkling Margarita is available now.
