THE NETHERLANDS | LIPTON Teas & Infusions has announced the appointment of Grant Reid, former President and Chief Executive Officer of Mars Incorporated, as its new Chair, effective immediately.
Reid has extensive global leadership experience, having served as CEO of Mars for nine years and spent more than three decades with the business.
During his tenure, he led an ambitious growth strategy that increased sales by more than 50 percent, expanded the company’s pet services business, and advanced a leadership agenda focused on sustainability, innovation, and long-term value creation.
He currently serves on the Boards of Vanguard and Marriott International. From 2021 to 2024, he chaired the Sustainable Markets Initiative Agribusiness Taskforce at the invitation of His Majesty King Charles III, convening global business leaders to advance regenerative agriculture.
He has also served on the Board of the Consumer Goods Forum, where he co-chaired the Governance Committee and co-led the Forest Positive Initiative.

In his new role, he will work closely with Marc Busain, who joined LIPTON Teas and Infusions as CEO last October, as the two press ahead with their growth plans for the business.
Busain was thrilled that someone of Reid's stature and experience had agreed to become the new chair and was confident that he would be an invaluable source of support and wisdom.
