Eight-Week Transformation For Matlock Co-op

Matlock Co-op re-opened its doors to the community on Friday, the 1st of May, following an eight-week investment programme to transform the store.

Located in Firs Parade, Matlock, the store relaunched with a fresh new look and enhanced shopping experience for the community.

New refrigeration will reduce energy consumption and support Co-op’s carbon-reduction goals, while enhancing the range and choice of fresh and chilled products.

An in-store bakery and Costa Coffee Express are available, alongside Co-op’s meal deals and food to go; Fairtrade products; ready meals and meal ideas, including its new Mexican-inspired ‘Served’ range; pizzas; fresh meats and dairy; chilled beers and wines; fresh flowers; and everyday essentials.

Gemma Swallow, Co-op Store Manager, was delighted to invest in Matlock and proud to be part of local community life.

We have a focus on offering quality products, value and choice that can be enjoyed by everyone alongside added services including Costa Coffee, parcel collections, payment services, quick online home delivery and more," she said.
