Sparkling success for a sparkling future.
This year’s NZ Beverage Council conference theme will focus on innovation. It’s timely given that a dynamic landscape of innovation characterises the non-alcoholic beverage industry in 2025.
“That dynamic landscape is driven by a confluence of health and wellness trends, the sober curious movement, and technological advancements,” said NZ Beverage Council co-chair Grant Jeffrey.
He said the market continued to exhibit strong growth, presenting significant opportunities for companies that can effectively adapt to evolving consumer preferences.
“From the plant-based revolution and the sophistication of mocktails to the focus on gut health and the integration of functional ingredients, innovation is forging change across product categories.”
The advancements in sustainable packaging and the strategic use of digital marketing and technology have been reshaping how these products are produced, marketed, and consumed.
“It’s an exciting time in the non-alcoholic beverage sector.”
The speakers at the session will include Matt Dilly, Agricultural Economist, ANZ, Nick Campbell, Account Director, Mintel, Ross Pearce, Founder, Innovation Realised and Ben Cain, Partner, James & Wells.
This one-day NZBC conference, followed by dinner, will be held at Tote on Ascot (Ellerslie Events Centre) on Thursday, the 16th of October and is open to members and non-members.
Jamie Matthewson, General Manager, Woolworths NZ will also be a speaker at the dinner session.
