Collecting Z Points Just Got Easier

Collecting Z Points Just Got Easier

The ethos behind Z Rewards is to express a big thank you to loyal Z customers.

Thanks to the latest addition to the Z Rewards programme, customers can get even more of exactly what they love.

Currently, 500 points get customers a treat. Now, once customers have collected 2,500 points, they can choose to convert their points into a NZD 20 voucher to spend as they like.

“We wanted to evolve our loyalty offer from just fuel discounts and instead, reward customers for all the ways they connect with us,” said Bronwyn Barberel, Head of Loyalty at Z Energy (Z).

"As such, the programme allows customers to collect Z Rewards points across a range of purchases – from food and drink to groceries and EV charging – and then use those points for popular treats."

The process for collecting points couldn’t be simpler. For every dollar spent on fuel, customers earn one Z Reward point. For every dollar spent on EV charging or any in-store purchase, customers earn two Z Reward points.

“It might be that on Saturday morning, when you’re between kids’ sports games, you can use your voucher for popping in and grabbing a sausage roll, chocolate milk, plus a coffee for yourself – and there’s nothing to pay. Who doesn’t love a win like that?”

Barberel added that everyone wants to save money, so the everyday fuel discount of 6 cents per litre that Z Rewards customers get is excellent.

Every Wednesday, Z also offers 10 cents off a litre, along with free coffees, as a top treat among other items like pies, sausage rolls, and V.

Given that Z Rewards has already seen customers earn 203 million points to date, that’s a lot of delicious treats, and now vouchers are coming people’s way.

“Coming up, customers can look forward to getting special offers that are just for them, plus there will be opportunities to earn 10 times the usual number of points on food, drink and EV charging."

Z Rewards is easily accessible via the Z app and can be used at any Z Store nationwide. By adding the Airpoints number to the app, customers can earn those at the same time, too, so the wins just keep on coming.
