Nestlé Expands Air Fryer Range

Nestlé expands its air fryer range in the Americas, offering delicious meal moments

USA | As the air fryer continues to gain popularity in more kitchens around the world, Nestlé has expanded its range of recipe mixes, meals, and seasonings to support modern cooking.

The company has launched several air fryer-compatible products throughout North and South America, making it easy for people to enjoy more delicious meal moments.

"Consumers across the Americas are now increasingly using the air fryer to create wholesome meal moments," said Nikhil Chand, Head of Food Strategic Business Unit, Nestlé S.A.

"We want to support them with air fryer-specific recipes, featured on digital platforms like Recetas Nestlé, and products. Our air fryer range includes ready-made meals, marinades, recipe mixes and seasoning wrappers. These modern cooking solutions are one of our six 'big bets' for 2025. Collectively, they have the potential to generate over 100 million Swiss francs in annual sales."

In Chile, where younger generations, in particular, are interested in modern cooking methods, Nestlé has just launched the Maggi air fryer seasoning to capitalise on the growing interest in air fryers.

Consumers want ideas for meals that are easy to prepare, involve fewer steps and require minimal utensils. Nestlé is helping them keep their meals varied and exciting.

In the US, where usage continues to rise, Nestlé recently introduced three new air fryer meals under the popular Stouffer’s brand: Teriyaki Chicken, Garlic Parmesan Chicken, and Orange Chicken.

Feedback so far has indicated that consumers like the taste and texture of the meals and find them very easy to make. Also in the US, Nestlé has repositioned its Hot Pockets products to allow for preparation in the air fryer, which gives them a crispier texture.

In Mexico, Nestlé offers Maggi seasoned papyrus sleeves that can be prepared in air fryers. The company is helping consumers discover this modern cooking trend in the country, where it is gaining popularity.

When wrapped around proteins or vegetables and cooked according to the instructions, these patented seasoned sheets improve flavour while preserving juiciness and texture.

"These innovations contain the ideal combination of ingredients to cater to local flavour profiles and trends and deliver authentic taste experiences. They utilise our deep knowledge of flavours and rich sensory expertise,” said Swen Rabe, Head of the Nestlé Research and Development Centre for Food in Singen, Germany.

Nestlé’s recent expansion of its air fryer range in the US, Chile, and Mexico builds on the success of its global modern cooking portfolio, which is already present in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, and China.
