EUROPE | After three years of successful collaboration, Nestlé will fully acquire yfood Labs GmbH from its founders.
yfood is one of Europe’s leading smart food brands, offering nutritionally complete ready-to-drink meals across Germany and Europe. Its products are available in 30 countries and at more than 50,000 points of sale.
Through strong brand building, expanded distribution and continuous product innovation, the company has achieved sustained growth. Sales were approximately EUR 150 million in 2025, representing double-digit year-on-year growth.
yfood is now preparing for its next phase of growth, including the brand’s expansion into new markets beyond Europe.
Nestlé has held a 49 percent minority stake in yfood since 2023. Subject to customary approvals, the remaining shares held by the founders are expected to transfer to Nestlé with effect from the 3rd of July 2026. The financial terms of the transaction will not be disclosed.
