UK | As consumers increasingly seek convenient, protein-rich foods that fit busy lifestyles, The Happy Egg Co. has expanded its range with four new chilled products in Tesco stores.
The new range includes: Mozzarella & Tomato Egg Bites; Ham Hock with Sweet Potato Frittata Slices; Boiled Eggs (6 pack) and Poached Eggs (4 pack).
The launch saw the Happy Egg Co. bring its trusted egg brand into new chilled formats, helping consumers enjoy eggs wherever and whenever they choose.
Long loved by families for their taste, versatility, and value, eggs are increasingly enjoyed beyond traditional breakfast occasions. Developed in partnership with Tesco, the new range is designed to help consumers enjoy eggs throughout the day, whether that’s a grab-and-go breakfast, a satisfying afternoon snack, a quick lunch, or an easy meal solution.
The launch supported Noble Foods’ wider ambition to help more people enjoy eggs more often by bringing the quality, taste and versatility consumers already know from the Happy Egg Co. into convenient chilled formats designed for modern lifestyles.
According to James Howes, Brand Marketing Manager at Noble Foods, consumers already love eggs because they’re tasty, versatile and easy to enjoy in so many different ways.
As lifestyles get busier, Noble Foods has seen growing demand for products that make those benefits even more accessible while delivering the nutritional qualities consumers increasingly value.
“Working closely with Tesco, we’ve developed a range that gives shoppers even more opportunities to choose eggs throughout the day,” said Howes.
“Whether it’s breakfast, lunch, snacking or an easier evening meal, these products bring the trusted quality of the Happy Egg Co. into formats that fit naturally into people’s lives.”
The launch comes amid continued growth in Noble Foods’ added-value portfolio. Alongside the continued expansion of Happy Egg Co. beyond shell eggs, including last year’s frozen omelette launch, the business recently introduced Kudos, a brand focused on rewarding nutrition and protein-rich eating occasions.
Together, the two brands help Noble Foods serve a broader range of consumer needs, from trusted family favourites to nutrition-led choices.
The launch reflects significant investment in Noble Foods’ growing added-value business. Since opening in 2024, the company’s Leicester facility has doubled in capacity, reflecting increasing demand for convenient egg products and providing a platform for future innovation.
