New Food And Beverage Stalls Announced At Expo

SIAL Shanghai announced new specialised food and beverage stalls at its expo in May 2024.

Asia's largest food and beverage exhibition will allow consumers to discover global culinary delights.

With stands from over 70 countries, the event will expand to cover 200,000 square meters across 17 halls.

Visitors can try foods ranging from imported delicacies to regional specialty foods. Organic and frozen products, health and diet products, baby food, non-alcoholic beverages, and frozen meats will also be on show, as will food-related equipment and technologies.

There will be 5,000 in-person exhibitors. SIAL has predicted the event to be an unparalleled exploration of global flavours and trends.

In addition, SIAL Shanghai will offer discussions with manufacturers and distributors, a supply chain workshop, and a marketing workshop.

SIAL Shanghai will also host forums on international meat, imported food, food supply chain, international drink catering, global new retail and new health foods.

Immersive activities will be held to encourage ticket holders to network with others in the food and beverage industry. The SIAL Best Steak Awards will open this year alongside La Cuisine, the Snacking Awards, the Chic & Tea Contest, the CUP Barista Challenge, the Chinese Restaurant dining experience, the Rolling Dice Market and the Seafood Fest.

The two-day event, which will take place from 28 May to 30 May, will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.

It is predicted to host more than 180,000 attendees, offering an excellent place to network with food sector professionals.
