AUSTRALIA | Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) and Coles have partnered for a fourth consecutive year to support Australians experiencing food insecurity through the 2026 Coles Community Food Relief Appeal.
Since the partnership began in 2022, CCEP and Coles have raised AUD 519,263 for SecondBite, helping provide the equivalent of 2.6 million meals to Australians experiencing food insecurity.
This year marked the first time Coles has brought SecondBite and Foodbank together as part of the appeal, creating an even greater opportunity for customers and suppliers to support Australians experiencing food hardship.
Until the 1st of September, CCEP will donate 20 cents from every Mount Franklin product sold at Coles, up to AUD 250,000.
As food insecurity continues to affect more Australians, organisations such as SecondBite and Foodbank play a critical role in meeting growing community needs.
New research commissioned by Coles, SecondBite and Foodbank has revealed an estimated 3.6 million Australians have experienced food hardship for the first time in the past six months, with many struggling in silence.
Nearly half of respondents said they would not seek food relief because they believe someone else needs help more than they do, while almost one in three (32 percent) said they would be too embarrassed to ask for assistance.
Australians can support the 2026 Coles Community Food Relief Appeal by purchasing any Mount Franklin product in-store or online at Coles, or by making a donation directly through the SecondBite website.
