British supermarket has launched the UK’s first non-alcoholic stout. The global beverage market has continued to see growth in the non-alcoholic beer, wine and spirits industry with increased demand for healthier options from consumers. Produced by craft brewery Big Drop Brewing Company, the stout will join a number of additional zero alcohol drinks.

“Low and no alcohol beer is soaring in popularity, and that is down to a major improvement in the taste, quality and varieties that are now available,” said Tesco beer buyer Dom Hill.

The non-alcoholic and low beer industry saw an increase of 30 percent last year with more than 24 million beers sold, and Tesco estimates that the number will only grow further.
