German discount supermarket, Netto Market-Discount, has launched a wheat flour under its organic home-brand Naturkind. The wheat has been sourced from certified organic farms in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Saxony-Anhalt, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony, Brandenburg and Thuringia.
The retailer's eco ranges have been developed as the German Ministry of Food and Agriculture reported 47 percent of consumers are opting for organic products.
The flour is available in a one-kilogram pack for €1.69 and features the WWF and BioPark logos.
