Voyage Foods has released a nut-allergy-friendly peanut butter that is made from grape seed, wild rice, sunflower seeds, chickpeas and buckwheat. The company promises it tastes just like traditional peanut butter, but everyone, even customers with nut allergies, can enjoy it.
The product also offers a good source of protein and nutrients such as calcium, iron, potassium, and vitamins D and E. The spread is also gluten-free, vegan and non-GMO certified.
Voyage foods also have cacao-free chocolate and bean-free coffee currently in the works.
"At Voyage, we're future-proofing time-tested favorite foods so that we can enjoy them for years to come without having to worry about their impact on the environment and unjust labor customs that contributed to making them," said Adam Maxwell, Voyage FOods CEO.
