Cheese giant Sargento Foods Inc. is offering a new snack in a bid to make its way into the morning meal market.
Sunrise Balanced Breaks refrigerated snack kits combine Sargento's natural cheese with ingredients such as granola or quinoa, with each kit providing seven grams of protein. The snack is a variation on the brand's successful Balanced Breaks kit, which the company says, "have been a major success for Sargento, driving 28% growth in 2018."
Four flavours are available: natural double cheddar cheese, vanilla blueberry quinoa clusters and blueberry juice-infused dried cranberries; Colby jack natural cheese, coconut clusters with seed medley and dried cranberries; natural medium cheddar cheese, raisins and maple pumpkin seeds; and Monterey jack natural cheese, walnut oat granola with dark chocolate and golden raisins.
