Aldi has filed a lawsuit against Lidl stating that leaked trade secrets such as expansion plans and cost-reduction strategies were shared. The suit has been filed against Lidl and two former employees who Aldi claims shared remodelling strategies, proprietary expansion secrets, store layout plans, construction plans, and cost reduction strategies. The employees at the heart of the lawsuit are Bruna Maraccini, ex Aldi real estate director, and Roman Heini who had previously worked at Lidl for 18 years.
