Mondelēz launched a limited-time online platform this year, gifts.oreo.com, offering Oreo holiday gift tins. The direct-to-consumer ecommerce pilot is part of Mondelēz’s overall ecommerce strategy, which aims to grow ecommerce revenues to at least US$1 billion by 2020.
Although the platform is only shipping to the US, the company will apply learnings in other key markets in the future, including France, UK and China.
