Ben and Jerry’s Loose Lawsuit Against Unilever

Ben and Jerry's Loose Lawsuit Against Unilever

Ben and Jerry's have lost the battle with parent company Unilever over Israeli operations.

Judge Andrew carter denied Ben and Jerry's request for a preliminary injunction on August 22nd. He said that the ice cream maker failed to demonstrate how the brand would suffer harm from the sale.

He said that the claims were too speculative and noted that the products would have Hebrew and Arabic trademarks, making them easily distinguishable from other branded products.

The Vermont ice cream maker is yet to comment on the ruling.
