A dead baby chicken was found inside an egg bought from a Woolworths store in Sydney, Australia. The unlucky customer, Ani Bhowmilk, boiled the egg before making the grim discovery, and later posted a photo on Facebook.
“I bought these free range eggs from Woolworths Surry Hills. Tried to boil them and look what I found! I had boiled a chick!” he said.
“I know you don’t lay the eggs but at least know what you are serving the customers. This is too much protein for me. Free chicken with egg!”
Woolworths replied ensuring that they were taking the incident seriously and asked Bhowmilk to contact them 'so that we can follow this up with you ASAP'.
